Garden waste collections in Wokingham Borough have been suspected until further notice, from Tuesday 5th January 2021, due to Covid-19.
As cases continue to rise in the borough, the waste collection contractor Veolia is seeing an increased number of cases amongst their staff.
Wokingham Borough Council is suspending garden waste collections to allow staff to focus on the weekly general waste, recycling and food waste collections.
Please do not report a missed garden waste collection from 5th January. A further update will be published when the service is resumed.
