Wokingham Without Parish Council have acquired a unit via Community First Responders, which will allow us to store the defibrillator for the Pinewood Centre out on site.  It was previously located inside Pinewood Bar & Café.

The defib is now situated on the small brick unit outside the Judo Club.

Also, thanks to ambulance service donations, three additional defibrillators have been installed at:

  • Wildmoor Heath School
  • Crowthorne C of E Primary School
  • Tesco Express in Greenwood Road

For more information on defibrillator locations and how to use them please visit the Save a Life website.

Crowthorne Community Frist Responders

Crowthorne Community First Responders are a group of local volunteers, trained by the ambulance service, and help in the community by responding to medical emergencies before the arrival of an ambulance.  They are always looking for more volunteers, especially for daytime and weekend shifts.  You must be able to drive and have your own car. You can do as little as one shift a fortnight or more if you have the time.

If you would like to find out more about becoming a first responder, please visit their website, Crowthorne First Responders
