Please be aware that Wokingham Borough Council as Traffic Authority has made an Order under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Heathlands Road, Wokingham between its junctions with Honey Hill and B3430 Nine Mile Ride.
The alternative route for all vehicles affected by this restriction shall be via B3430 Nine Mile Ride, Old Wokingham Road and Easthampstead Road or by this route in reverse.
Works requiring this restriction will take place between 28th February and 25th March 2022.
The reason for these prohibitions is to allow Southern Gas Networks contractors to undertake gas main replacement and associated connection work in safety.
The restriction imposed by the Order shall only apply during those periods when traffic signs complying with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 are lawfully displayed.
The dates of these restrictions may be subject to change.
