The new black wheeled bin waste service began on 12/8/24

GENERAL HOUSEHOLD WASTE

This will now be collected every 2 weeks, from the black wheeled bin (unless a household exception has been arranged).

You can no longer put blue sacks of rubbish outside separately – all waste must be inside the Black Wheeled bin with a closed lid.

RECYCLING – GREEN RECYCLING SACKS

On the alternate week, your recycling in green recycling sacks will be collected.

FOOD WASTE

The black FOOD waste caddy is collected EVERY week.

Which weeks will my waste be collected? 

Weekly Waste Collection leaflets have been delivered to every household – please refer to yours to find out to check what waste will be collected each week and for any changes during bank holidays or revised dates during Christmas.

GARDEN WASTE – BROWN BINS – BROWN SACKS

A FEW POINTS TO REMEMBER

Lids of black wheeled bins must be closed – if over flowing they will not be collected

Location: Please bring your waste to the edge of your property near the pavement, but do not block others by putting them across the pathways or road.

You cannot put blue sacks of rubbish out for collection at all – they will not be collected.  However, you can fill the sacks and put it INSIDE the black wheeled bin.

Any usual household bin liner (ie pedal bin/ swing bin liners) can contain your rubbish and be placed inside the black wheelie bin.
