The woodland at Buckler’s Park (known as the Buckler’s Park SANG, or Strategic Alternative Natural Greenspace) has proved to be a very popular local amenity, but residents have called for safer pedestrian access from the western side of Old Wokingham Road, at the junction with Ellis Road.
Wokingham Without Parish Council is supporting a petition for a safe crossing point near the junction of Ellis Road, which will enable safer access to both the SANG at Buckler’s Park and the bus stop. It will also give a safer crossing point for Buckler’s Park residents wishing to access amenities around Crowthorne High Street on foot.
